Vaccination Certificates required for entry
In order to attend this conference you must demonstrate your vaccination level in accordance with the Government regulations regarding school environments.  When you enter the school, please wear a mask until you arrive at the registration desk.  VOSA will ensure that the environment will be as Covid safe as possible. The VOSA Covid policy is available on the website.
BYO instrument optional
You are welcome to bring a ukulele, recorder, or other instrument if you wish, but otherwise we will provide a range of melodic and non-melodic instruments for use.
Instrument Repair Booth
VOSA will have a ‘Repair Booth’ for those of you who have an instrument that requires some fixing.  We are delighted that Rob Buchan and Bill Vryens will be there to provide assistance with this.  Minor repairs such as a broken peg on a xylophone can probably be fixed on the spot.  Anything more major will be assessed and quoted on by Bill.
Optimum Percussion
We are extremely happy that Optimum Percussion from Sydney will host a trade display at Meraki.  They will be on hand to offer advice about instrument selection for your teaching environments, plus have a range of samples for you to try.  On Friday 29th they will present a workshop demonstrating correct percussion playing techniques.
All In Friday
Our All In on Friday features the wonderful Jon Madin and his array of marimbas, echo cellos and other instruments.  Regardless of your prior experience, everyone joins in  and it’s always a very joyful time.
Susie Davies-Splitter will present over the two days and many of you will know her through her many resources.
Susie will share her love of music and lead us all in a finale at the end of the conference on Saturday 30th April.
We look forward to seeing you at Meraki.  If you have any further queries, please contact us at
