“Sounds like, looks like, must be Music Learning.”
Just imagine that an experienced Music teacher was given time to dissect the Victorian Curriculum in order to design and write the resources, based on the curriculum, that she’d always wanted. That’s what Sally Walsh has done!!
Sally works for VCAA and teaches Music in a school, spending two and a half days per week on each. She was asked by the VCAA to come up with the resources she wished she’d been given for the Victorian Curriculum and given a year to work on it. Her work is magnificent!!! There are rubrics and a continuum; “I can” statements, the most comprehensive yet simple posters of the elements I’ve ever seen, excel spreadsheets already set up for assessment purposes ready for you to type names into and use and more. You will be given all these amazing resources at the end of the day.
Sally will be leading a Professional Development Day which will be held at the Australian Catholic University, 115 Victoria Parade, Fitzroy, 3065 on Friday 12 October, 2018. Sally will share with us from 9.00 a.m. – 3.30 p.m. and a forum, led by Beth Rankin, will follow from 3.30 – 4.00 p.m.
If you’re looking for somewhere to go for your Professional Practice Day in Term Three this will be perfect for you.
