André de Quadros is our featured presenter this year. 
André is a Professor of Music at Boston University.  He has held a number of leadership positions at Boston University, including Director of the School of Music, Chair of the Music Education Department, Chair of the Department of Music in the College and Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and Artistic Director of the Tanglewood Institute.  Professor de Quadros also holds affiliate faculty positions in the African Studies Center, Center for the Study of Asia, Institute for the Study of Muslim Societies and Civilizations, and the Prison Education Program at Boston University. 

Prior to his current positions in the USA, he was an associate professor at Monash University in Australia. To read Andre's full biography please click here.

Of course there will be traders and friends old and new to meet.  One of the strengths of Professional Learning activities such as this is having the chance to compare notes, swap ideas and meet others who speak your language.  Your students will enjoy the activities that stem from the practical workshops.  If you’re familiar with Orff Approach PD, you’ll know that these translate immediately into the classroom and you will also have the joy of working with experienced Orff practitioners.
