"Brown Books" Course with Richard Gill.
This course will explore the historical basis for the pieces in the 'Volumes' including connections with art music (from Chant to 'Now'). The repertoire will be used as a starting point for improvisation and its application to the classroom.
he two day course is aimed towards people who have completed at least a Level 1 Orff Teacher Training Course rather than those who have not had any previous experience with Orff before. If you have not had any Orff experience we would recommend you attend the Monday workshop which will focus on Music within the Australian Curriculum.

"Music in the Classroom: Orff Ideas & the National Curriculum". Ideas for lessons using voice & instruments, leading to improvisation. Relevant to teachers of students aged 4-15yrs (open to all teachers and music educators who are interested in Music within the new Australian National Curriculum).
