"Music and the Arts: A Positive Start"
Once again ECCPA has brought together an extraordinary range of presenters who are not only experienced in their field but who are proven experts in communicating their knowledge, sharing it in ways that many have found can be implemented immediately they return to their teaching. These are people who daily practice their skills in the work place and know from experience what is needed to share language and the performing arts with young children. The focus of the workshops is 'hands on' and 'learning by doing' and we expect that you will leave the conference with new suites of skills and enthusiasm to share what you have learned.
An Orff stream of workshops will highlight the Orff process.
A Kodaly stream of workshops will be presented on Saturday 22 August. Learn songs that engage children in enjoyable aural, visual and movement activities, culminating in reading and writing skills.
Resource 'show and tell' sessions will showcase a number of resources that will be valuable for participants to hear about. Includes VOSA Sales, Bushfire Press, Julie Wylie and Lorraine Charters.
